Dr Marion Burns HMI now works part time with Education Scotland. Marion completed her doctoral degree at Strathclyde University in 2019. Her main research focus is the ‘early level’ of Curriculum for Excellence, more specifically children’s transition across the early level. Marion has travelled to New South Wales, New Zealand and Iceland to participate in a range of professional learning activities as part of the Pedagogies of Educational Transitions (POET) work package. She has published works which include blogs, research papers and book chapters.
